ASOS interview guide

ASOS sells fashion online only and has no shops, so its jobs are in head office, technology, customer care and its warehouses rather than on a shop floor.

What ASOS values

ASOS job adverts describe its values as being authentic, brave and creative. Some adverts add a fourth:

  • Authentic

    Being yourself and being honest.

  • Brave

Trying new things and speaking up.

  • Creative

    Bringing fresh ideas.

  • Disciplined

Listed in some adverts: getting things done well and on time.

What to show at your interview

  • That you know ASOS is online only, and which part of the business the job is in.
  • Examples of being creative or trying something new.
  • For warehouse roles: reliability, accuracy and working safely at pace.

Questions you might be asked

Every interview is different. These are typical questions for ASOS roles, matched to what they say they look for.

  • Tell me about a time you suggested a new idea.
  • Describe a time you spoke up when something wasn’t right.
  • How do you stay accurate when you’re working quickly?
  • Why ASOS, and why this part of the business?
  • Tell me about a time you had to learn a new system fast.
